Astrid Textile Lab
We cannot but help reminiscing about 2020 year's edition of the Stockholm Furniture Fair, where we had the immense pleasure of meeting many of you – both new and existing clients – at the Astrid Textile Lab.
The stand itself was created with sustainability in mind.
The space, created in collaboration with Note Design Studio, was designed to bring our showroom to a broad audience, showcasing our passion for fabrics and inspiring the use of textile when conceiving interior spaces by adding textures and layers. The stand itself was created with sustainability in mind. All of it is reused to make up part of the functional interior of our Stockholm showroom.

At the Astrid Textile Lab, we presented a number of new textile collections, as well as a couple of colour updates:
We have developed two collections in recycled polyester and Trevira CS/polyester FR, our first samples will be shown at the fair. They are made of GRS certified polyester (a global standard for recycled goods). We present two semitransparent fabrics Harrietta and Nicola. We are also excited to show two collections in recycled wool and linen Dorotea and Paolina.
For upholstery we are presenting: Benita – a double width linen fabric with 25.000 Martindale, Ponza – a strong linen with 100.000 Martindale, Moretti – a wool bouclé in three soft colors. Finally, Axel– our best seller in stone washed linen fabric comes in 7 new colors.
For curtains and decorations, we are showing four new collections on double width: Yoko – a jacquard linen and cotton blend, Valencia – a washed crinkled linen and Parma – a slimmer version of our Modena Mano Morbida all perfect for bed spreads. At last but not least an Astrid team favorite, Torno – a luxurious mohair wool and linen textile.
For the contract market we have a new exciting collection – Siena, in Polyester FR. A dense equal-sided fabric available in a large color scale.
Other news are our collections based on the same warp: Savona, Biella and Levanto, they are made of soft washed linen in different bindings and inspiring colours.
