New Works showroom

When the Danish design studio New Works was to move to new premises in 2019, their new showroom was designed in collaboration with Swedish Lotta Agaton Interiors. The choice of fabrics for curtains and accessories fell on our fabrics in natural materials in an earthy and beige colour scheme.

Our washed linen fabric Piet in the natural colour of the linen is used throughout for the curtains that are hung up in slender black wrought iron bars just below the stucco.

In the middle of Copenhagen’s city center, New Works’ new home was created, an entire flat to experience furniture and objects in a calm and harmonious atmosphere. The colours are dark and earthy and the materials exude weight and quality. Walls and joinery are painted in the same tone, which creates a subdued and elegant atmosphere.

Our washed linen fabric Piet in the natural colour of the linen is used throughout for the curtains that are hung up in slender black wrought iron bars just below the stucco. When linen fabrics are washed, they get a beautiful vivid expression with folds and marks. The weight of a denser fabric contributes to a wonderfully heavy drape and can with advantage puddle the floor like here. Add a decimeter or more to get the expression.

For the furniture collection, New Works has included our collections Mons and Velvet Baby Mohair.

Our fabric Vintage is used for the cushions.
The chair is upholstered in Mons in colour 3213.
Sofa in Velvet Baby Mohair in colour 9890.
