Ogeborg x Note Design Studio
We are always curious and inspired when Note Design Studio chose our fabrics in projects. The design-driven carpet company Ogeborg's updated showroom is no exception. Here, the concept of tone in tone has been taken to the extreme tastefull with walls, ceilings, floors and textiles in the same colour tone.
Note worked to create a soft, unobtrusive base for Ogeborg to present a wide range of products, ensuring visitors are able to experience what is on offer without distraction or influence.
They have embraced a limited colour palette inspired by cardboard — a kind of “beige mist” — so the atmosphere of the spaces changes in response to the different carpets that are present. The custom-made furniture reflects the work processes of the company, taking inspiration from a traditional workshop aesthetic. Tables function as practical and generous work surfaces, rugs hang on display throughout, while the shelves and drawers hold easily accessible fabric samples.
Together, this is a celebration of the materiality, colour and processes behind Ogeborg’s products, creating an ever-evolving space to welcome moments of meeting, exchange and interaction.

The fabrics were selected to match the beautiful colour Note Design Studio developed especially for Ogeborg’s showroom. At the windows, the transparent Davos in colour 3620 was a great choice, with a nice transparency to filter the light. Against the wall, the choice fell on the washed linen fabric Savona in color 3356 for a varm and soft feeling. For a pair of soft stools, the bouclé fabric Mons in colour 3629 was used.
