Stockholm Design Week & News 2022
We are turning Design Week into Design Spring and will continuously present our news with Stockholm Design Week as a starting point, both online and onsite to try to suit everyones needs these days.
A NEW WORLD OF PATTERNS
We have longed for colours and a more graphic expression and are proud to present a complement to the Astrid colours and structures in form of several patterns; from subtle stripes and squares to more colourful and graphic shapes that will not go unnoticed. With different weaving techniques, a new design range is created that goes hand in hand with our existing collections.
One of our big favorites in recent years, Torno, is developed into a diagonal pattern in a vibrant colour scheme that welcomes spring – Brera. The wool bouclé thread forms a woolly stripe against the light linen warp. The fabric has a soft tactile feel and a strong graphic expression.
MORE DEVELOPMENTS AND NEWS
We have given our wool quality Valle a pattern of jacquard woven squares and stripes and the sheer and delicate Chiara comes with a subtle stripe. Murano, our slightly heavier linen and silk fabric with a lot of structure, comes in wider stripes and squares in a burnt amber tone against white.
Some of our linen fabrics have a new finishing wash called “mano della nonna” (hand of granny) which gives a nice soft feeling and beautiful drape. We wash the fabrics in small batches to create a slightly crinkled surface. One is our thinner linen fabric Liguria, that is developped into a new collection and will be available in natural colours and a hemstitch pattern that gives a striped structure.
Pictures and samples will be presented during spring!
We will also show our new dimout in partially recycled polyester – Luna, the new colours in Malva and the entire new colour range in Levanto. They will all be available as sample collections.
Our news can be seen and felt onsite in our showroom. We are happy to book a meeting for a presentation, please send an e-mail to [email protected]
