Structures in white
We love colour but we think it’s extra fun to combine different white textures together for an exciting variation as a neutral base. For that reason we have composed a mix of white favourites together with the new tone in Brera.
Art galleries and museums often start from a white room when artworks and exhibitions are to be presented. The idea of a neutral shade to highlight works of art caught on in the early 20th century and is still used today. An interior can work in the same way where the paintings in the exhibition are represented by furniture, cushions and other things that make the home come alive. Try complementing the white walls with white curtains to further enhance the feeling of a white cube. Sheer, plain, structured or wrinkled fabrics will provide an interesting basis for what you want to highlight.
