Chalet is a rustic and textured heavy upholstery fabric made with a linen and wool mix, together with a little polyamid it makes a very strong fabric with 100.000 martindale rubs, the threads are very thick with the same density in warp and weft which gives it this special sturdy look.
The fabric goes through a double dying process that makes the colours vibrant and they vary from naturals to deep and muted ones.

Chalet is most suitable for upholstery and decoration and will for example make a beautiful headboard. You can easy find a matching colour in our lighter upholstery fabric Axel.
